Job Opening: Batcher

Mixer / Batcher (Cosmetics Manufacturing)

Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00/hour, DOE

Position Summary:

The Mixer/Batcher prepares, mixes, and processes raw materials into bulk cosmetic products while following ISO 22716 and GMP standards. This role supports product quality and traceability through accurate batching, equipment operation, in-process checks, and proper documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Verify work orders, pre-weighed materials, and assign batch numbers
• Stage and document raw ingredients
• Prepare and operate tanks, mixers, and heated systems
• Add ingredients in proper sequence per batch instructions
• Melt solids and transfer phases using sanitized hoses and pumps
• Operate high-shear mixers and perform in-process checks (temperature, pH, viscosity)
• Complete batch records, cleaning logs, and production documentation
• Follow contamination-prevention, GMP, and safety procedures
• Report deviations and support QA during audits
• Clean and sanitize equipment per SOPs
• Coordinate with production staff and assist with basic training

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; technical training preferred
• 1–2 years batching/compounding experience (cosmetics, food, or pharma preferred)
• Knowledge of GMP and ISO 22716 standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear PPE
