This position is responsible for the effective and efficient cross dock operation. • Based on the order pick slip provided by Dispatch, request the containers needed from the yard. Physically validate that the container matches the requested one (or write down the accurate substitute container when applicable).

• Based on the order requirements, provide the Forklift Operators the instructions on the pallets to be discharged from the containers and loaded to the customer’s truck (or preload containers) as required on the orders. Execute the transfer of the fruit inventory on the tablet.

• Support on the cross dock of fruit from one container to another, whenever there is a malfunction container or a transfer load. Follow the procedures to ensure that the container to be loaded is at the right temperature for the product.

• When required, cross dock commercial cargo deliveries from customer trucks to containers for their export

• Ensure the equipment received to load the orders meet the food safety standards and are set at the correct temperature, prior to loading, and certify their inspection by filling and signing the forms accordingly.

• Monitor the containers in the warehouse used as cold storage to ensure they have the correct set point depending on the fruit stored in them and that they are functioning properly.
