We are currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our team in West Sacramento. This position is within a rice processing and packaging facility, where employees will assist with inspecting, packaging, and handling rice products in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect rice products to ensure quality standards are met
• Package rice into bags according to company specifications
• Monitor production processes and report any quality concerns
• Stack, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety and food handling procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Job Summary:   

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse and transportation operations. This role ensures timely product movement, inventory accuracy, and effective communication with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Logistics: (60%)

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.

• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier paperwork.

• Ability to be Forklift Certified.

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/WMS system.
• Perform physical inventory cycle counts.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Ensure proper lot tracking, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and inventory traceability.
• Support offsite inventory audits and compliance requirements.
• Accurately identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
