Job Requirements:

As the Accounting Clerk, the party shall be responsible for preparing bank deposits, balancing cash drawer, and bank reconciliation, transferring of funds as needed, access the Internet for LAIF quarterly interests reports, the posting of disbursements and receipts to appropriate ledgers, and payroll reporting for PER’S.  Prepare quarterly and end of year tax reports, make review of accounts payable invoices and code for payment, the performance of a monthly trail balance of all funds and tie this into the monthly printout, the preparation of monthly income and expenses reports, update A/R journal worksheets, preparing customer billing, posting checks daily into the cash receipts from customers, overseeing and entering data for vendors and payroll checks and reviewing the payrolls and meter reads, reviewing all incoming mail and outgoing letters, bills, and notices, ensure the maintenance of all files on service accounts, accounts payable, workers compensation and all other insurance, assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly review of same, the preparation of Board correspondence, assists in cleaning office and attendance at and preparation of the minutes and agenda data for the meetings and Board meeting binders for distribution.  The position requires having books balanced and all information gathered for the annual audit and interacting with the attorney, engineer, auditor, insurance agent and customers within policy and procedures and as directed by the Board.  The position also may require handling of emergency calls and possible call outs for District business.  Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, District Board members, outside agencies and the public.  All other tasks as assigned

Summary: Coordinates bookings with carriers, maintains constant communication with off-site warehouse, and updates system with latest information regarding orders shipping from these warehouses. Partners with the Sales Department to insure on-time delivery of all orders and customer satisfaction. Schedule may vary and will include some Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and input appointments for all orders shipping out of warehouses
  • Check and verify bill of lading to insure correct product has shipped. Advise sales department if wrong product or different quantity has been shipped
  • Advise sales department of any changes in orders before releasing orders.
  • Call carrier’s dispatch to obtain ETA
  • Check and verify that the orders have the right product shipping out of the warehouse
  • Coordinate any delivery problems and also input into SAP
  • Works with all carriers, all L TL carriers, UPS and CHEP U.S.A
  • Processes the invoices related to Shipping Department
  • Faxes documents to other company warehouses and Bill of Ladings to carriers
  • Call L TL carriers with pick up information
  • Reference each order that will be on the same trailer in the shipping notes, and record the trucking company’s load number
  • Organize bills of lading and worksheets in the sequence in which they were loaded order. Staple bills of lading in proper order
  • Bill of Lading is checked in the computer to make sure all is accurate and matches. Order is then released in the computer to show it has been shipped. Bills of lading are put in numerical order
  • Attends Carrier Window, checking drivers in and out, verifying their load sheets match the bill of lading and that paperwork is filled out properly
  • Works a flexible schedule and may work occasional Saturdays
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must know Microsoft Excel, Work and Outlook at basic level
  • Must be able to learn and function with company SAP system

Job Purpose

The Lab Technician Assistant will work under the direction Quality Manager. This position will perform various laboratory, inspection, and administrative functions such as maintaining existing logs, books, and systems up to date including solution analysis records, tank addition records, lab chemicals supply and shelf life. The Lab Technician provides support to the processing department by ensuring that processing tanks have conforming signs and meet temperature requirements among other duties. This role assists operators by completing inspection of product to ensure it conforms to customer and industry specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Chemical Lab

  • Receive, label, and safely store chemical as needed
  • Verify expiration date and ensure chemicals are used in a FIFO basis
  • Prepare the lab schedule, collect samples from tanks and perform tests needed for analysis and reporting
  • Record results of tests and performs analysis of additions / bath maintenance in TrueChem
  • Prepare chemical additions per the analysis completed
  • Identify trends, discuss, and answer questions regarding the results
  • Organize and store chemicals in accordance with safety procedures and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.
  • Cleans and maintains lab equipment, including recalibration/standardization of equipment
  • Maintains equipment records and daily work logs in TrueChem software •

  • Stays current on technical information pertaining to the baths

Final Inspection

  • Complete & document in-process and final inspection XRF readings when required

  • Conduct daily cycle counts of the Finished Goods in the shipping warehouse
  • Collecting logs and gathering data from the Re-Pack stations of the Shipping warehouse for production and Damaged Goods

  • Assist in correction of receiving warehouse transfers and discrepancies
  • Assist to count daily receipts at the manufacturing plant involving production for a method to check the number of materials received and confirmed at production
