Position Overview

A logistics operation in San Leandro is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support daily transportation and cargo coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers based on daily schedules, customer requirements, and route efficiency.

• Monitor driver progress and provide real-time support to resolve delays, route changes, or operational issues.

• Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, carriers, and customer service to maintain smooth cargo flow.

• Verify shipment details, delivery instructions, and provide timely updates to internal teams and customers.

• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, route documentation, and shipment records.

• Assist with load planning, dock coordination, and workflow prioritization.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

• Support problem-solving efforts related to delivery issues or customer concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.

• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure.

• Proficiency with computers, dispatch systems, GPS tools, and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to read and interpret shipment instructions, routing details, and delivery documentation.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
