Ensure production lines receive materials just in time, preventing work stoppages and delays. This will require implementing and responding to replenishment signals and triggers.
Ensure kits are complete when delivered to the assembly cell.
Stage materials at the point of use and replenish as necessary. Maintain an orderly and accessible stock of materials, optimizing layout for efficient retrieval.
Work closely with stakeholders to anticipate material needs and adjust workflows accordingly.
Implement and refine lean practices, ensuring consistent and reliable replenishment processes.
Proactively identify shortages and inefficiencies; implement solutions to optimize material flow.
Maintain safety protocols and 5S principles, contributing to an organized and safe environment.
Track material movement accurately, ensuring data integrity in warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; additional training in lean methodologies is a plus.
1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments is preferred.
Understands material flow, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.
Experience with kanban, just-in-time replenishment, and warehouse management systems.
Strong ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
Forklift and material handling equipment certification preferred.
