Forklift Operator – Newark, CA

Pay Rate: $26.24/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in Newark, CA. This role is responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up, sit-down, or reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and transport pallets, freight, and materials throughout the warehouse
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment
• Verify product counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist with inbound and outbound processing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all warehouse procedures, equipment guidelines, and safety protocols
• Support general warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred
• Ability to operate multiple forklift types (stand-up, reach, sit-down)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and reading skills

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm
• Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm

• Overtime may be available depending on business needs
