Dispatch: R&D & Shuttles & Trips

- Build a relationship with all drivers to sense daily alertness status. Drugs and alcohol test/inspect their conditions.
- Offer drivers solutions during daily operations (route, shuttle and trips) to guarantee service success.
- Communicate with R&D customer service, inside sales and clients, if needed, and management in case of any service interruptions or issues
- Assist with breakdowns (liaison between mechanic and driver), cover drivers ,route changes and all other operations situations.
- Coordinate with lead mechanic and compliance safety coordinator, on all bus status issues and cc: staff
- Drive routes when necessary (proper credential required)
- Report any failure on BBSI/Samsara/Bus Hive to necessary staff. First contact should be customer support from corresponding carrier.
- Closes dispatch daily, turns off lights, windows, coffee machine, AC/Heater, makes sure all buses are shut down, locks all gates and clears with R&D.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver to join our team at the Port Hueneme base. This position supports daily transportation and logistics operations and plays a key role in ensuring timely and efficient movement of vehicles. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies

Transport vehicles as assigned within the port/base area

Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues

Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines

Work occasional overtime based on business demands
