Hourly Rate: $21-$23 per hour
Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM (Not a fixed schedule) Must be open to working weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:
The Membership & Troop Recruitment Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation through a variety of in-person and/or meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with community organizations, corporations, schools, educators, faith-based intuitions, and other community constituents. Successfully converts leads of interested individuals into registered girl and adult members and then seeks to place them within Troops or to create new Troops. She/he is responsible for securing girl and adult volunteer participation and community partnerships through community cultivation, lead generation, and follow-up. She/he works cross-functionally to meet membership retention goals as well.

Recruitment Specialist Qualifications:
• Related experience such as membership development, recruitment and/or retention of girls and adult members.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Understands the sales process and management of leads.
• Strong computer and data entry skills – Microsoft Office proficient

 

Job Requirements:

Recruitment Specialist Requirements:
• Weekends are mandatory.
• Ability to occasionally work more than assigned work schedule.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Some overnight travel is required.
• Ability to have daily access to reliable personal transportation for work.
• Ability to travel in a car as a driver or a passenger for long periods.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 25 lbs., including lifting that weight in and out of a vehicle truck and similar tasks.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer display for extended periods.
•Valid CA driver's license and insured vehicle in good working order.

Shift: Must have a flexible schedule.

Job Summary: Responsible for various laboratory duties, including sample processing, media preparation, collection, data entry, and more.

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
• Process incoming samples
• Accurately record detailed data
• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks of the lab
• Perform facility and field sampling of product & water
• Use of lab equipment (e.g. scales, autoclaves)
• Clean glassware, laboratory areas, and utensils
• Media preparation
• Perform pipetting and serial dilutions
• Retrieve samples from various locations, as needed
• All other duties assigned by management

Laboratory Technician Requirements:
• Laboratory skills, including aseptic technique a plus, but not required
• Ability to multi-task & adapt to a changing fast-paced environment required
• Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Clean DMV record
• Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, evenings, and overtime
• Strong math skills
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Payrate: Open depending on experience.

Job Summary: Maintenance Mechanic II will maintain and repair all plant equipment for the Food Manufacturing plant, including boiler and wastewater systems, packaging department, and manufacturing food process machinery. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in the Maintenance department.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain high-speed production equipment
• Follows proper lockout tag-out procedures as required
• Complete all OSHA required training, correct and report any unsafe conditions as necessary
• Complete work orders and assignments on time without errors as directed by supervisor or
manager
• Perform package change-overs on equipment as required
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, adjustments, and repairs as indicated on the
CMMS program
• Participate in daily meetings and reports maintenance department objectives and opportunities
• Install / rebuild equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems
• Develop preventive maintenance needs and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical problems of food processing and industrial machinery in a
timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

Maintenance Mechanic Skills/Qualifications:
• 2 years of related experience.
• Refrigeration experience
• Electrical and mechanical certification is a plus
• Must have hands-on knowledge of boiler, mechanical fluid power, pneumatic systems.
• Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, repair and maintain all
equipment in accordance with the plant’s policies and procedures
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have a good understanding of preventive predictive maintenance operations
• Ability to commute/relocate:
• Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts and the flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
