We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Shelf Life Technologist to join our Food Safety & Quality Assurance team in Salinas, CA. This position is responsible for evaluating product quality and shelf life by reviewing samples, analyzing data, tracking trends, and reporting findings to QA and Food Safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review retained production samples and document results.
  • Analyze shelf life data and maintain records in various databases.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using statistical analysis.
  • Measure the impact of quality deviations on freshness and shelf life standards.
  • Support product identification and traceability investigations related to shelf life studies and customer complaints.
  • Troubleshoot quality concerns through data and sample analysis.
  • Collaborate with QA Supervisors and Technicians to implement improved quality standards and processes.
  • Support inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process production, packaging operations, and finished goods inventory.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data entry, reporting, and database management.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
