 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verifies order accuracy using a written pick list. We use RF Scanners and Oracl VMS
  • Packs and processes items to prepare them for final shipment. 
  • Scans items into the inventory management system.
  • Package items using appropriate containers, fillers, and reinforcements.
  • Enter shipping information into a computer database. 
  • Generate and apply/enclose shipping labels and packing lists. 
  • Transport completed orders to the staging area for loading/shipping.
  • Assist with loading orders onto trucks as needed.
  •  Will also need good communication skills including an ability to use email and google suite.
  • Cycle Count experience and attention to details are both important
  • Able to read English and write fluently to perform daily tasks.

In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing: 

  • Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams 
  • Operate auto case erector. 
  • Empty Carton Recycle, which requires organizing cartons and putting usable cartons back into the system. 
  • Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers 
  • Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology. 
  • Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer 
  • Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.

Job Requirements:

  • 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
  • Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
  • Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
  • Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Able to count accurately
