Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled and safety-focused Class B CDL Driver with Hazmat (H) and preferably Tanker (N) endorsements for local routes in the greater Los Angeles area, including Van Nuys. This role primarily involves transporting hazardous materials such as fuel (gasoline, diesel), propane, chemicals, or other placarded loads using straight trucks or tankers. Drivers typically enjoy home-daily schedules with no over-the-road requirements, focusing on safe, compliant deliveries to gas stations, construction sites, industrial facilities, or commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (e.g., tank trucks, box trucks with tanks) while adhering to all DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Load, transport, and unload hazardous materials, ensuring proper securing, placarding, and handling to prevent spills or incidents.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain electronic logging devices (ELD), and complete required paperwork (bills of lading, Hazmat manifests).
  • Deliver products to customer sites on time, providing professional customer service and obtaining signatures/proof of delivery.
  • Respond to emergencies or spills according to training protocols and report any incidents immediately.

  • Successful completion of TSA background check and fingerprinting for Hazmat endorsement.
