Location: Lawndale,CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role plays a key part in driving business growth through effective lead generation, strong client relationships, and a deep understanding of the Construction Supply industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer engagement, able to analyze market trends, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Identify, research, and follow up on warm and cold leads from web inquiries, referrals, and phone calls.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person to assist with orders, provide quotes, and share product information.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits effectively.
- Product Knowledge Development: Learn product lines from key vendors such as Simpson Strong-Tie, WR Meadows, Multiquip, and others.
- Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the full sales cycle—handle objections, prepare quotes, and close deals.
- Prophet21 System Use: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and sales activities.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, vendors, and outside sales to support customer needs.
- Special Product Research: Identify and source specialty products not regularly carried or stocked, often requiring vendor outreach beyond the usual supplier list.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills — bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service abilities with clear, concise communication.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet goals.
- Proficiency with Prophet21, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to understand technical product information and the competitive landscape.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs before responding.
