Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading a team of associates, and ensuring accurate, efficient logistics functions. This role requires hands-on experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and operating a sit-down forklift while supporting production and safety goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates to meet daily production and quality standards
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials as needed
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to perform inventory transactions, receiving, picking, and shipping
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper documentation within WMS
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust priorities to meet operational demands
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments
• Assist with training and on boarding of new associates
• Troubleshoot basic operational issues and escalate when necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead or Senior Warehouse Associate
• Sit-down forklift experience required (certification preferred)
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on when needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and flexibility with scheduling

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, or diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled 10 hour shifts
