Primary Tasks:
• Review work schedule, perform safety check on equipment, obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Work from receiving sheets, computer print-out, established procedures and practices.
• Locate and perform count check of incoming freight in the staging area and transport to appropriate area with Forklift / Hi-Lift / Power Jack. Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks and take appropriate action as needed.
• Locate proper slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with Forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into radio frequency (RF) unit or handheld device. Replenish pick slots without going stock items according to next days’ work orders.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock to the front of the rack and / or remove outdated inventory according to company policy. Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles. Inspect empty pallets for damage, stack and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the proper storage area. Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Bending, Twisting, Standing, Sitting, Lifting.

 JOB DESCRIPTION Plant Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for providing hands-on maintenance and repair services to all areas of winery operations including equipment, infrastructure, and buildings. Through utilizing a computerized maintenance management system, performs routine and preventative maintenance of all winery equipment under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

·       Embrace safety policies, procedures, and programs.

·       Perform welding, electrical repair, fabrication, mechanical repair, basic industrial refrigeration and HVAC repair, liquid and gas plumbing, and other mechanical tasks.

·       Must be familiar with gas, arc, TIG, and Mig welding in various positions.

·       Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all winery facilities to include but not limited to: Water supply and distribution; Wastewater and storm-water systems and processes; HVAC systems; compressed air and gases production storage and distribution; wine tanks and catwalks.

·       Must have the capability of independently investigating and analyzing causes of equipment failure and malfunction and take the necessary corrective action.

·       Must be able to plan, layout, erect and assemble equipment and sub-assemblies in accordance with drawings, manufacturer’s specifications, and blueprints as well as verbal or written instructions with minimum supervision.

·       Perform routine and preventative maintenance of all winery facilities to include but not limited to pumps, hoses, valves & fittings, filters, centrifuges, de-stemmers, presses, conveyors, and hoists. 

·       Would be expected to be able to diagnose and correct electrical problems.

·       Assembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic devices.

 

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Good Safety and attendance records.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs. and push items over 100lbs.
  • Must be able to work 7 days per week, overtime, and Holidays as required.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and other types of control devices required.

  •  Must possess outstanding communications skills, and be capable of interfacing well with all production, quality control, and warehouse personnel.
