Pay: $21 – $31.92 (Depending on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bobtail Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering supplies and materials to customer locations, warehouses, and job sites while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bobtail truck to deliver products to customer locations and job sites.
- Load, unload, and secure materials for transportation.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain customer signatures as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and transportation records.
- Follow established routes and delivery schedules.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with warehouse duties, inventory, and material handling when not performing deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license (Class A or B preferred, if applicable).
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
- Experience operating delivery trucks, forklifts, or material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
