Cold Box Forklift DriverPay Rate: $18.00 per HourJob SummaryThe Cold Box Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating a forklift in a refrigerated warehouse environment to transport, load, unload, and organize products. This position ensures inventory is handled efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards in a cold storage facility.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift safely and efficiently in a cold storage warehouse.Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks.Move products to designated locations according to warehouse procedures.Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues.Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for damage.Maintain accurate inventory records and follow scanning procedures when required.Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.Assist with warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.QualificationsPrevious forklift operating experience preferred.Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Ability to work in refrigerated environments ranging from 32°F to below freezing temperatures.Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
