We are currently seeking a Forge Technician to join our team at our Irvine, CA location. In this role, you will support press operators by performing a variety of tasks essential to the forging process of high-performance materials used in jet engine components for the aerospace industry.

Available Shift & Pay Rate

Weekend 1st Shift(Fri-Sun)

Schedule: 4:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $23-$28/ hour

Prepare metal stock for forging by staging materials, positioning heated metal stock on forging dies, and removing hot forgings from the dies.
Complete quality assurance inspections, production records, and part tracking documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and assemble thermonuclear wiring in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while following all safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written work instructions.
Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials as required by the position.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
CAD programs (AutocCAD and/or NX preferred)
Teamcenter is a plus
