Now Hiring: Operations Specialist

Location: Pico Rivera,CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE

The Operation Specialist plays a key role in ensuring high service levels for all shipments by maintaining accurate tracking, updating shipment statuses, and supporting overall logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Track, trace, and monitor shipments, ensuring accurate and timely updates
Document shipment activity with detailed notes and status updates
Process customer information related to transportation, billing, and collections
Monitor communication channels (web, fax, voicemail) for shipment updates
Maintain data for customers, markets, and operational processes
Support coordinators, supervisors, and managers with operational needs
Identify and escalate issues that may impact shipment performance
Verify and confirm service provider charges
Ensure accuracy of accessorial charges and shipment costs
Assist with operational, sales, contract, and billing processes
Follow company security procedures (C-TPAT & TSA compliance)
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Ability to work Monday–Friday schedule (flexibility for shifts as needed)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to read, interpret, and apply business procedures and regulations
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
