Job Opening: CNC Machine Operator
Description
Zünd Operator / Case & Crate Crewmember – Swing Shift
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Zünd Operator or Case & Crate Crewmember. This role involves working with a Zünd digital cutting system, which differs from traditional CNC machining by focusing on precise 2D cutting applications. Operators will use the Zünd to cut thin materials such as plastic, cardboard, foam, and light wood, supporting production of custom packaging and components.
This is a second (swing) shift position, with selected candidates completing 2–3 weeks of training on the morning shift before transitioning.
For the Case & Crate Crewmember role, ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in blueprint reading, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, or general carpentry. You should be comfortable measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with accuracy and efficiency.
For the Zünd Operator role, candidates should have strong computer skills and experience with digital cutting systems, 3D printers, or light CNC equipment. While CNC machining experience is helpful, this role is less complex than traditional CNC machining and better suited for individuals who enjoy precision-based digital workflows.
Compensation ranges from $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for team players who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
