Job Opening: Maintenance Mechanic

Pay: $22–$30

Schedule: Mon–Sat, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

Summary: Under supervision, perform skilled mechanical work to maintain, troubleshoot, and install manufacturing and packaging equipment. Complete repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient operations.

Duties:

1. Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime; keep accurate, inspection-ready logs.
2. Diagnose and fix issues (with guidance) to improve productivity.
3. Follow GMPs for proper equipment setup, use, and maintenance.
4. Maintain spare parts inventory.
5. Troubleshoot minor electrical problems.
6. Follow company and OSHA safety and hazardous material guidelines.
7. Communicate project status with Manager/Supervisor/Planner.
8. Update management on open items and progress.
9. Complete other assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years general maintenance experience
• 2+ years working with manufacturing/packaging equipment
• Good DMV record
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Pass company test (80% minimum)

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Food & Drug GMPs (CFR 111)
• Electrical control systems, mechanical systems, LOTO
