Job Summary

The Parts Advisor supports daily shop operations by ensuring accurate inventory, timely parts availability, and strong coordination with technicians, mechanics, vendors, and the Service Team. This role plays a key part in keeping repairs moving efficiently and maintaining organized, compliant parts operations in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels to ensure parts are available when needed
• Order parts and track deliveries from vendors
• Process parts invoices, receipts, and related documentation
• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits
• Coordinate closely with technicians, mechanics, and the Service Team
• Maintain accurate records and parts-related reports
• Keep the parts area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Safely lift, move, and handle parts as required

Requirements

• Experience in parts, inventory, or service operations preferred
• Automotive, heavy-duty, or equipment repair environment experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to lift and handle parts safely
