About the Role
Select Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations for one of our top clients. This role is essential in ensuring materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Handle all warehousing activities including receiving materials, supplies, and freight, as well as shipping finished products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials safely and securely; verify items and quantities against freight bills, vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, manifests, or related documentation.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damaged, or defective items; maintain accurate records including time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials.
- Update purchase order systems for all receipts, shipments, cancellations, and back-orders.
- Gather, verify, scan, label, pack/wrap, and load items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch based on specifications and transportation requirements.
- Maintain orderly stocking of inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules and marketing shipment timelines.
- Uphold inventory security, organization, and accountability at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills for inventory and record-keeping
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
