Pay: Starting at $17.50 per hour depending on experience
Job Overview
We are hiring Cheese Molders for a food manufacturing and processing company in Hanford, CA. This hands on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a production environment and take pride in quality and cleanliness. You will play a key role in molding, packaging, and ensuring high quality cheese products.
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift starting at 5:30 AM
- 2nd Shift starting at 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Pack product by placing it into bags, film, and or containers
- Stack finished product onto pallets according to standards
- Mold and de mold cheese following production guidelines
- Assist with pre set up of the bottle un scrambler machine
- Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout production
- Inspect products for proper sealing, filling, and overall quality
- Verify correct date codes, lot numbers, case labels, and expiration dates
- Perform CP on the dryer
- Operate spray dryer and other production equipment effectively
- Start up and shut down the dryer efficiently to meet production needs
- Assemble and disassemble molding machines as required
- Check product weight to ensure specifications are met
- Ensure proper quality throughout the production process
- Ensure the cotija grinder is clean and sanitized prior to starting the molding process
- Ensure molding machines are clean and sanitized before production begins
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and production procedures
- Ability to lift, stack, and move product as required
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work assigned shifts
