Job Opening: Grinder

?The Grinder is responsible for operating hand-held and stationary grinding equipment to shape, smooth, and finish metal or other materials according to specifications. This role ensures all parts meet required quality standards, dimensions, and surface-finish requirements while strictly following safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment including bench, surface, angle, and cylindrical grinders
• Remove excess material and finish parts per specifications
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy
• Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
• Perform deburring, smoothing, and polishing as required
• Maintain grinding equipment and perform basic routine maintenance
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Schedule

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
