Job Description:
As the Inventory Control Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our inventory operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including but not limited to inventory accuracy, inventory tracking, cycle counting, and ensuring proper stock levels to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Lead and train a team of inventory control associates to ensure compliance with inventory procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement inventory management software and tools to streamline processes and improve visibility into inventory levels.
