Looking for a line lead at a leading cosmetics manufacturer. Located in Walnut, CA.
Mon-Fri 730 am – 4 pm
Pay $16/hr
Job Description:
The Line Lead is responsible to achieve goals set by Production Management with the day-to-day operation of their area. Oversees a group of production crew members and ensures an efficient operation in achieving daily quota targets. Provides leadership and line management to the production crew, coordinates their workloads, provides support to ensure that the team delivers, monitors any issues, and ensures production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in process manufacturing preferably in cosmetic process manufacturing or an FDA regulated industry.
- Must be able to maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area. Maintains housekeeping in conformance with, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Good time-management skills
- Good English communications skills: speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Advanced PC Knowledge i.e. MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is preferred
- Thorough understanding and use of QAD System.
- Flexibility to work long hours during peak season or special schedules as needed to satisfying job requirements.
- Ability to multi-task and follow through on project assignments
- Ability to quickly remedy procedural problems
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Makes suggestions for improvements
