Join our team at a Food Manufacturing Company in Chatsworth, CA! We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic operations.
Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Hours: Flexible schedule, primarily 8am – 4:30pm (once a week, start at 4:30am-1pm)
Pay: $27/hour

Current Position Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls/emails to the appropriate person/department and screen/forward when appropriate
- Support reception and receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, having them sign-in, directing, and announcing them appropriately. Translate documents from English to Spanish.
- Update written Visitor Check-In Log throughout the day and be responsible for it during an evacuation emergency
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email/customer service software
- Direct daily email/customer service software inquiries to the appropriate person/department in a timely manner
- Reply to all coupon requests and distribute coupons accordingly
- Ensure reception and lobby area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Manage visitor GMPs
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries and notify recipients
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, laminating, posting of announcements and mailing/shipping USPS & UPS
- Adhere to company core values and company policies
- Post office conference room schedule daily
- Update The Receptionist iPad options as needed
- Track inventory and order office supplies (including printer toner) as needed
- Keep supply closets (BA & BD) clean, stocked and organized
- Maintain and order office snacks
- Track inventory and order coffee/filters for breakrooms and office
- Coordinate and manage Vending Machines
- Create company flyers posting for HR and company events
- Ensure COVID-19 procedures for visitors and guest are being observe
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications
- Highschool diploma required
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to use Microsoft Suit
