Job Requirements:
· Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 1–3 years of logistics, inventory control, or supply chain experience.
· Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred.
· Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
· Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
· Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and transportation processes.
Knowledge: Experience with freight carriers, LTL, FTL, and parcel shipping operations. Intermediate, Food and beverage manufacturing experience, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and basic overall computer skills. Navision experience a plus.
Physical: Ability to work on feet for at least 6 hours. Ability to work at a computer for periods of time up to (8) hours. Ability to lift packages up to 54 lbs, periodically. Ability to work in walk in freezer to pull products for daily shipping. Personal appearance and high standards of hygiene at all times.

Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse and transportation operations. This role ensures timely product movement, inventory accuracy, and effective communication with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logistics: (60%)
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries to meet customer and production requirements.
- Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery status and potential delays.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier paperwork.
- Resolve transportation and delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Determines shipping methods for all shipments using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ability to be Forklift Certified.
- Operate Big Joe Forklift for pull shipments.
- Creates transfer orders for shipments to Napa.
- Inventory Functions: (40%)
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/WMS system.
- Perform physical inventory cycle counts.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Ensure proper lot tracking, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and inventory traceability.
- Support offsite inventory audits and compliance requirements.
- Accurately identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations.
