Production Operator III
The Production Operator III is an advanced manufacturing professional responsible for operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing threading, bending, and fabrication equipment. This position serves as a technical resource within the production department, ensuring product quality, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring Production Operator I and II employees. The Production Operator III demonstrates advanced knowledge of RMC products, manufacturing processes, and equipment while helping achieve production, quality, and safety objectives.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Have 4–6 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or machine-operation experience
- Have experience with machine setups, tooling changes, and troubleshooting
- Be able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Have strong safety, quality, and leadership skills
- Be comfortable training and mentoring less-experienced operators
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Have forklift experience or the ability to become certified
We want to add that threading and bending experience is a major plus.
Job Requirements:
- 4–6 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of threading, bending, fabrication, and related manufacturing equipment.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring devices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
- Forklift certification or ability to maintain certification preferred.

El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia operando máquinas de coser industriales y trabajando con materiales pesados o especializados, garantizando que los productos cumplan con los estándares de seguridad, durabilidad y calidad.
Responsabilidades Principales
- Operar máquinas de coser industriales (de una aguja, de arrastre o especializadas) para ensamblar delantales de protección radiológica.
- Coser y ensamblar materiales multicapa, incluyendo blindaje contra radiación con plomo o libre de plomo, vinilo, nailon o telas recubiertas.
- Leer y seguir órdenes de trabajo, patrones y especificaciones técnicas.
- Medir, cortar y alinear materiales con precisión para garantizar el ajuste y la cobertura adecuados.
- Inspeccionar los productos terminados para verificar la precisión de las costuras, su resistencia y la calidad general.
