Responsibilities:

Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable's data. Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

The Safety Specialist partners with the Human Resources department and Safety to coordinate, implement, and create the best safety practices.

Workers Compensation claims management:

Initiates new workers compensation claim once an injury is reported.

Provide guidance for work related injuries to both managers and injured employee.

Manages claim through the life of the claim.

Investigates claim and provides root cause investigation to develop and execute strategy for injury prevention.

Manages return to work program.

Creates and implements safety for employees.

DOT compliance:

Manage all DMV driver's license requirements.

Manages random drug testing and driver physicals.

Environmental compliance:

Manager all environmental compliance: disposals, etc.

All other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 7 years of experience with safety and risk management.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
