Position Summary:

The Distribution Technician 1 is responsible for supporting all warehouse operations, including receiving, filling orders to pick lists, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.  Direction is taken from the Distribution Manager and the Distribution Technician II team members; the associate is expected to contribute as part of the team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving:  Expected to sign for, inspect, and receive into inventory all incoming materials. 

• Order Picking: Expected to pick orders from business software generated pick lists.

• General warehouse organization: Is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.

• Responsible for cutting and packaging tubing to order.

Position Requirements:

  Education:    High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:  Minimum 1 year warehouse experience is required.

                      Must be capable of lifting items up to 50 pounds.

  Skills:            Excellent organizational skills, computer literacy, mechanical aptitude.

            Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

SAP B1 Business Software (or similar) experience is desired

Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
