The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and performing basic testing on hospital equipment to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards before being returned to healthcare facilities. Essential Job Duties

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect hospital equipment such as medical beds, mattresses, patient lifts, wheelchairs, and mobility devices

• Follow all infection-control and sanitation procedures

• Use approved cleaning agents and disinfectants

• Perform basic equipment checks after cleaning

• Tag or label equipment after sanitation and testing

• Move equipment between cleaning, drying, and storage areas
