About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Installer to join our Operations team at Port Hueneme. In this role, you will be responsible for installing port-installed accessories on new vehicles while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install port-installed accessories on new vehicles according to company procedures and quality standards.
  • Meet daily production and performance goals established by management.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools and equipment associated with automotive accessory installation.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety.
  • Adapt to changing operational priorities and production schedules.
  • Support overtime requirements when business needs demand.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Assist with operational tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand tools used in automotive accessory installation.
  • Ability to read and understand English-language work orders and installation instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • At least 1 year of direct experience in automotive accessory installation or a related automotive field.
  • Experience working with vehicle modifications, accessories, or automotive repairs.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Regular bending, kneeling, squatting, balancing, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent operation of vehicles and automotive equipment.
  • Ability to work around automotive lifts, vehicle exhaust, dust, and changing outdoor weather conditions.
  • Consistent use of hand tools requiring manual dexterity and repetitive hand movements.

About the Role

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our Port Hueneme Vehicle Processing Center. This position plays a key role in daily HR operations, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, benefits administration, leave management, performance management support, and HR records maintenance. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional employee and candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including requisition coordination, job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and hiring recommendations.
  • Create offer letters and coordinate pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug testing.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and provide recruiting status updates to leadership.
  • Support employee referral and temp-to-permanent conversion programs.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruiting initiatives.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Process personnel changes, benefits updates, and employment status changes.
  • Support HR audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
  • Administer wellness and auto allowance programs, including audits and documentation review.
  • Perform periodic Form I-9 audits and maintain organized employee files.

Employee Relations & Leave Administration

  • Provide guidance to employees and leaders regarding company policies and HR procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns and workplace conflicts.
  • Process and track FMLA, ADA, and other leave requests while ensuring compliance.
  • Review HR documentation for accuracy and maintain records in HR Acuity.
  • Support annual performance review and compensation adjustment processes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department.
  • Assist with HR projects, meetings, and company events.
  • Process payroll when needed in the absence of the Senior HR Analyst.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1–2 years of direct experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour compliance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and OneNote.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
  • Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
