Logistics Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Ontario, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Hours may occasionally adjust to 8:00 AM-6:00 PM or 9:00 AM-7:00 PM based on business needs and overtime requirements.

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Customer Service Coordinator to support daily transportation and shipment operations. This role is responsible for tracking shipments, monitoring dashboards, resolving delivery exceptions, communicating with carriers, maintaining shipment documentation (BOL, PRO, POD), updating systems, and ensuring compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities:

• Track and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery
• Manage delivery exceptions and support resolution processes
• Schedule and update appointments
• Communicate with carriers and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
• Process returns, refusals, reconsignment requests, and OS&D claims
• Update shipment status, notes, and case activity
• Escalate issues according to established procedures

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
