Temecula Manufacturing Facility Seeking 1st Shift QC Technician

Seeking a QC technician to ensure the integrity and adherence to the Quality System of our injection blow preform and blow molding plastic bottle facility, in the area of raw material, work in process and finish goods

 

Base Pay $18-21/hours, based on experience

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm

 

Quality Control Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product and raw materials, quality checks as per router and product check sheet procedures
  • Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (SQF/IMS) compliance
  • Document Quality Control checks and report discrepancy to supervisor lead for corrective action. Verify timely completion of corrective action.
  • Communicate with other Quality Control Technicians any unusual or out of specification condition
  • Implement and coordinate standard procedures for nonconforming product and processes
  • Assist in the training of operators on product quality requirements and safe work practices
  • Maintain housekeeping and a safe workplace
  • Maintain production reports, time cards and attendance sheets for manufacturing

Job Requirements:

  • Basic math skills, good verbal and written communication, a working literacy of English and ability to use measuring equipment such as magna mike, dial calipers, depth gauges, height gauges and scales.
  • Must be willing to work an alternative schedule that consists of 12 hrs per day, dependent on a 24/7 day per week schedule. Example- 3 days per week or 4 days per week, a rotating schedule that will allow 2 weekends off per month and 2 weekends working. Schedule is 6am to 6:30pm Day shift and 6pm to 6:30am Night shift.
