Summary:

Under guidelines from the Operations Manager, the Operation Coordinator (Admin Assistant) will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. They will support operation projects and other department needs through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Maintains inventory of all supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies needed.
  • Matches packing slips and invoices and prepare them for processing.
  • Welcomes employees and visitors. Ensures visitors have signed in and completes appropriate documents.
  • Assists with updating employee rosters and other forms for production leaders.
  • File and maintain record of facility department work order system.
  • Assists with creating communications and postings.
  • Opens and distributes mail. Collects and distributes mail and packages.
  • Other duties assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

Administrative Assistant Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively interact at all levels within and external to the organization.
  • Excellent Prioritization, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English, also Spanish desirable.

Education:

  • High School Diploma. Some college class or business courses.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 25lbs.
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time.

Job Description

The Product Integrity (PI) /Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will report to the PI Manager and/or Assistant PI Manager to achieve the following tasks:

  • Participate in routine tasting tests and occasional testing of out of spec
  • ingredients
  • Assist Consumer Affairs personnel on more technical subjects in resolving
  • consumer inquiries as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly tasting tests or consumer
  • complaint analysis and reports
  • Monitor regulations and standards of federal, local, international authorities, or
  • third-party authorities
  • Assist relevant departments and members of leadership/management on the
  • above items so that corporate meets all regulatory requirements
  • Participate in internal audits to verify that operations and products meet
  • regulatory and company policies and standards
  • Evaluate raw materials and suppliers and participate in occasional supplier visits
  • Maintain and review raw material specifications and food safety documentation to
  • ensure all is up-to-date
  • Other duties and projects may be assigned related to corporate quality

flavors and also contain wheat, soy, milk, sesame, and crustacean shellfish (shrimp, lobster)

 

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Food Science / Food Safety or equivalent knowledge and
  • professional experience with food safety and food safety regulations
  • Bilingual in Spanish (Ability to speak, read and write)
  • General knowledge of food manufacturing (familiarization with Instant Noodle
  • products is a plus)
  • HACCP certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate level experience working with MS Office functions (Outlook, Word,
  • Excel)
  • Ability to follow cooking instructions (measuring, weighing and preparation of
  • Instant Noodles) and taste all product flavors**
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and will be able
  • to work effectively in a team environment. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and/or move up to approximately 20 pounds
  • Stand/move for several hours daily
