We are seeking an individual with a wood working experience for a direct hire position in Gardena!

Mon - Fri 

7:00 am - 3:30 pm plus overtime

$23.00 - $25.00/hr

The Wood Assembler's responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading wood on the CNC machine.
• Routering / cutting wood as required.
• Assembling / Gluing wood pieces together for optimal assembly.
• Carpeting the finished subwoofer enclosures.
• Washing down wood.
• Unloading trucks

Qualifications 

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Experience in construction and carpentry work
• Ability to read blueprints and perform concrete forming
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
• Familiarity with construction estimating and trim carpentry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities 

• Setup Moulders for production jobs; optimized knife changes, fence, bed adjustments, run test sample, final machine adjustment
• Pre-production material preparation: determine/pull required stock, rip and glue
• Post-production material preparation: sand, wrap, package - Utilize hand and power tools to assist in the woodworking process.
• Operate various saws (table, compound miter, rip) and other woodshop tools
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
