Shipping & Receiving Associate – Cosmetics Manufacturing
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $22–$25 DOE
Schedule: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support distribution operations for a growing cosmetics company. This role handles incoming raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods, as well as preparing outbound shipments to ensure accurate, timely, and damage-free delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
- Prepare outbound shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems or spreadsheets
- Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams
- Follow GMP, safety, and cleanliness standards required in cosmetics manufacturing
- Safely operate pallet jacks or forklifts if trained
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
- Report damages, discrepancies, or inventory issues promptly

Qualifications
- Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Basic computer or inventory system experience
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
