Morning Shift: 5:30 AM–2:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00/ hour

The Batcher prepares, mixes, and processes raw materials into bulk cosmetic products while following ISO 22716 and GMP standards. This role manages batch numbering, ingredient staging, equipment operation, heated tank handling, in-process checks, and accurate documentation to ensure product quality and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Verify work orders and pre-weighed materials; assign batch numbers.
• Stage and record all ingredients; prepare and inspect tanks and mixers.
• Add ingredients in sequence and operate heated tanks for water/oil phases.
• Melt solids safely; transfer phases using sanitized hoses and pumps.
• Operate high-shear mixers and perform in-process checks (temp, pH, viscosity).
• Follow contamination-prevention protocols and document cleaning/sanitization.
• Report deviations and support QA during audits and investigations.
• Set up and troubleshoot mixers, pumps, heaters, and flow meters.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with production teams and guide untrained staff on basic tasks.
