Job Opening: Warehouse Associate
Description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator to support key warehouse and production functions. This role includes tasks such as picking, packing, assembly, cycle counting, quality assurance, and general housekeeping. While minimal forklift use is required, REACH TRUCK experience is a must.
This is an on-site hourly role and may require extended hours or weekend work based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company rules, safety policies, and quality standards
- Process, pack, and accurately ship customer orders
- Perform parcel shipping and support shipping/receiving tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Safely move pallets using a pallet jack (occasional forklift use)
- Participate in assembly and manufacturing of HVAC registers and grilles
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Monitor quality indicators and ensure compliance
- Contribute to process improvement and problem-solving
- Collaborate positively with team members and leadership
- Assist with equipment upkeep
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Reach truck experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Prior assembly or mechanical experience in manufacturing is a plus
- Hands-on experience using basic tools
- Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Forklift experience helpful, but not required
- Self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills
