Schedule: Monday- Friday

About the Role
Select Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a 6-week assignment in Marina, CA. This role supports daily office operations, provides administrative assistance to leadership, and helps ensure smooth front-office functionality.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route phone calls; greet and direct visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Director of Administration, including research and document preparation.
- Serve as back-up to the Executive Assistant/Clerk of the Board as needed.
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and packages, including occasional trips to the post office (must have a valid CA Driver’s License).
- Coordinate meetings: schedule, send reminders, arrange catering, and ensure meeting rooms are set up.
- Maintain office files, records, and contact lists; update computerized records and generate reports.
- Operate office equipment such as computers, copiers, and printers.
- Help keep the Administration Office organized and stocked with supplies.
- Follow assigned work schedules and meet attendance standards.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance of office equipment.
- Assist with ordering and inventory of supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative, secretarial, or general office support experience.
- Proficiency with modern office procedures, equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer service.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish bilingual skills are highly desirable.
- High School Diploma required.
- Strong organizational skills, including file management and information retrieval.
- Basic math skills.
- Valid California Driver’s License and insurability.
