Responsibilities
- Interpret, implement, and improve quality assurance standards
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance processes
- Review and monitor quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct, and oversee testing and inspection of materials and products
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes
- Organize training sessions to meet quality standards
- Coordinate and support on-site audits by external providers
- Monitor risk management activities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality assurance or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and implement standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong computer skills
- Able to work independently or with team
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
- Relevant regulatory requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- PCQI HACCP certified
- Experience with Quality inspections and audits
- Familiar with GMP, SQF, and KOSHER
- Implementation of corrective action programs
- Good communication skills verbal and written
