What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a wide range of equipment, including:

• Material blowers & extruders

• Chilled water & compressed air systems

• Plastic compound mixing/blending systems

• Plastic grinders

• Piping, metal fabrication, and auxiliary components

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work safely and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.

• Follow all safety protocols (arc flash, lockout-tagout, electrical safety).

• Install, maintain, repair, and adjust mechanical/electrical equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions using proper tools and techniques.

• Perform AC/DC motor replacements.

• Use machine shop equipment for fabrication and repair of parts.

• Apply working knowledge of lubricants and their uses.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to work orders.

• Perform general facility maintenance as required.

• Utilize computer systems to track and document maintenance activities.

• Be available for weekend and off-shift work as needed.
