Job Opening: HR Generalist
Description
Looking for a Seasonal Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team for the upcoming peak season. This position will primarily support Leave of Absence (LOA) administration and employee relations for both English and Spanish-speaking employees. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting employees during critical life events.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for employees requesting or currently on a Leave of Absence (FMLA, personal, medical, etc.).

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company LOA policies and procedures.

Coordinate documentation, communication, and tracking for all leave-related requests.

Support managers and employees through the leave process with clarity and empathy in both English and Spanish.

Assist with employee relations concerns, investigations, and documentation.

Provide guidance to managers on performance, attendance, and behavior-related matters.

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in HR systems.

Collaborate with other HR team members to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Conduct return-to-work check-ins and follow-ups with employees post-leave.
Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably with LOA and employee relations experience.

Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and applicable state leave laws.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (experience with [Insert system name, e.g., Workday, ADP] is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
