Job Summary
Select Staffing is looking for a personable and proactive Service Advisor to serve as the bridge between our customers and the automotive technicians. You’ll be responsible for understanding vehicle issues, recommending service solutions, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from drop-off to pick-up. If you love helping people and know your way around cars, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, listening to their service concerns and needs
- Document vehicle problems accurately and create work orders for technicians
- Provide clear estimates of service costs and timelines
- Communicate progress updates and follow up on additional recommended services
- Answer customer inquiries regarding services, warranties, and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with parts and technician teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records and ensure high customer satisfaction
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or automotive training preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a service advisor or customer service role in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic automotive knowledge and ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms
- Familiarity with service management software and systems
- Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience in dealership or high-volume repair center
