Job Opening: Warehouse Associate

Arvin area has immediate openings for Production Workers. Pay is 17.50ph and the hours and days are 7am-3:30pm and M-F.

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in providing logistical support for the entire warehouse. This position primarily focuses on tasks such as picking, packing, manufacturing, assembly, cycle counting, quality assurance, and housekeeping. Additionally, there will be some involvement in shipping and receiving functions, with minimal exposure to operating machinery (such as forklifts). This is an on-site hourly position, and extended work hours may be required if additional support is needed due to business needs, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

· Follow all company-established rules, policies, safety guidelines, quality standards, and process documentation.

· Handle parcel shipping and other related shipping functions.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Maintain and upkeep equipment.

· Collaborate with management to achieve key objectives.

· Process, pack, and accurately ship orders.

· Monitor quality indicators to ensure compliance with company requirements.

· Accurately process merchandise for customers.

· Safely move pallets using a pallet jack (occasional operating a forklift).

· Efficiently handle freight across various functions within the building.

· Engage in problem-solving and actively contribute to continuous improvement.

· Foster a spirit of learning and growth as a team member.

· Have a good initiative and proactive problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.

· Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working both independently and in a team environment.

· Assist in daily shipping and receiving operations.

· Be available for overtime as business needs dictate.

· Perform other related duties as directed.
