Sanitation Worker (Temporary Project)

?? Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
?? Duration: Two-week project for Month of July-August
?? Must be available to be on-call as needed

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to support a two-week project in a food processing facility located in Lemoore, CA. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment during manufacturing operations. Candidates must be available to be on-call for additional support outside of scheduled hours if needed.

Essential Functions:

Maintain cleanliness of process equipment, utensils, and product storage areas.
Continuously monitor and clean process floors, walls, and drains.
Communicate effectively with Production Supervisor, Department Lead, and Relief Operators to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Empty waste receptacles in processing and packaging areas as needed.
Remove empty or used raw ingredient containers and other debris from the production floor.
Adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and food safety regulations.
Follow company color-code protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
Assist with Clean-In-Place (CIP) processes, changeovers, and end-of-run sanitation.
Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and controlled.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Functions:

Assist with weighing and staging of ingredients.
Maintain cap hopper levels and document cap supplier information on the “Cap Tag Log.”
Load minced garlic into the garlic hopper and record lot information accurately.
Load fiber into box maker or tray former machines.
