Now Hiring a 3rd Shift Changeover Technician in Lake Forest, CA for at a worldwide dietary manufacturer company.
Pay: $20.50 – 23.50ph 11:30pm – 7:30am
Long term, temp to hire
You will be exposed to dust, powder, airborne particles, strong food orders, milk, soy, wheat, and nuts.
Responsible for effective changeover of the packaging lines between product runs. This includes breakdown of equipment, cleaning, re-assembly, set-up of the line to run the next product, training of other employees, and assisting with line clearance. Technician optimizes equipment performance by fine tuning and adjusting equipment to improve quality and efficiency, while also coordinating with maintenance for any assistance needed. The position is very experienced in packaging equipment operations, change overs, and set up of equipment while working independently or in coordination with line leads in the execution of duties on all packaging lines. They will help implement and maintain the TPM program and perform packaging duties as needed. The position will receive direction form the production supervisor and work closely with line leads to ensure schedule adherence.
Experienced in equipment change over, on all packaging lines
Sound mechanical proficiency and basic maintenance experience
Ability to trouble shoot equipment and fine tine equipment settings for optimization
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Must be highly team oriented
High attention to detail
Job Requirements
- Ability to collaborate with machine control panels and computers
- Requires minimal supervision while performing tasks
- Ability to manually handle packaging product in a quickly and timely manner
- Ability to apply basic math skills required to control inventory
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to comprehend and follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Ability to understand, speak, read and write in English language
- 2 years of experience in fast paced production or production packaging environment
- Prior experience and knowledge of cGMP
- Experience working/participating in team-based environment
- Basic computer skills
