Description
Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration: Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees in accordance with federal, state, and company policies Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, and direct deposit information Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll taxes and other statutory deductions Resolve payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner Generate payroll reports and provide data for audits as needed Human Resources Support: Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes Maintain up-to-date employee records Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR procedures Assist with timekeeping systems and review timesheets for accuracy Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll and HR documentation complies with federal, state, and local regulations Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or accounting preferred

2+ years of experience in payroll and/or human resources

Knowledge of payroll systems

Understanding of labor laws and payroll regulations

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
