Job Opening: Production Associate

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary based on production needs and packaging team assignments and may include:

• Support cereal and cereal bar production and packaging operations.
• Assemble cardboard totes and prepare packaging materials for finished products.
• Assist with material handling and movement of products throughout production areas.
• Learn to safely operate production and packaging equipment under the guidance of Team Leaders and experienced team members.
• Participate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdown procedures as trained and authorized.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting while reporting issues to Team Leaders, Technicians, or Maintenance personnel.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Demonstrate dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, and repetitive motion activities.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
